Reading Urgent Care Centre can provide treatment for minor illnesses. They are based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Addington Road, RG1 5LE.
Please note, people with muscle and joint injuries - strains and sprains, should attend the Minor Injuries Unit opposite the hospital's emergency department.
Appointments at the Urgent Care Centre are allocated between GP Practices, the Emergency Department, NHS 111 and and self-presenting patients. If you call the practice with a minor illness, our staff may be able to offer you an appointment with Reading Urgent Care Centre, dependent on availability
